I have recently had the gearbox and clutch replaced on my 1.6 zetec s and after about 2 days of having the car back the car felt as tho it stalled but started straight back up again and an abs light was on my dash and the rev counter was at 0 as if the engine was off. I have replaced the crankshaft sensor and it still hasn’t fixed the fault. The after clearing the fault with a scan tool it comes on randomly, I have gone for about a 40 mile drive and I was ragging the car and nothing happened but then I can go on the same 40 mile drive and driving normally and it will throw the fault but it also does it on any length journey randomly. The car runs and drives fine after the fault occurs but I want to get it fixed.
