Camshaft position sensor fault

Featured Replies

I changed the sensor but the fault code still comes back, what could be the problem? I have a 2005 focus 1.6l petrol

Damaged wiring?

Slipped cambelt?

Clogged VCT solenoid (if VCT engine)?

Suspect that these are both "AI" generated posts Tom. 🙁

I'm not sure the OP is.  But Oscar is definitely just a few lines of code away from taking over my job!

I think I've worked out the pattern with the AI bots. First a brand new poster appears and posts a somewhat vague question. Then approximately 2 hours later a different AI bot  returns to answer the original poster. 😉

Have a look back through the 7 posts made by oscar. The very first is along the same lines as the one in this thread.
