Immobiliser malfunction advice

Featured Replies

I was hoping to get some advice. I'm in Nottingham and need to find someone to fix my fiesta. She's a 2014 Zetec semi-automatic.

When I try to turn the engine on she reads immobiliser malfunction.

I called the RAC out who removed the error message and found multiple other error messages that needed removing (photo of lost below). I managed then to be able to start the engine and drive her home.

This morning the same thing has happened.

I've called multiple garages who basically say they don't know and it isn't their area.

Anyone know any place or person I can call to get help?

Resetting the immobilizer for a Ford Fiesta Mk7 will be needed for the vehicle to start up as normal again. To get started You'll need Your key fob with You. First lock the car and then unlock it. Next have the vehicle sit in the ON position for 30 seconds and it should be able to sense Your vehicle again. If this does not work the first time You will need to try the steps over again. If it still doesn't work there may be an issue with the battery.
