Car Stutters after warm up around 1700 - 1900 rpm

Featured Replies

Hi

I recently changed fuel filter, MAF sensor and Air Filter in a focus MK4 1.5 TCDI 2019.

Ive used Wynns Extreme diesel Cleaner in fuel tank, shell vpower diesel, and also sprayed Wynns EGR cleaner in inlet manifold as instructed.  It was Good for a day, then when cruising at around 1700 - 1900 it seems to shudder, like its missing.  If you leave it at them RPMs for 5 minutes engine light comes on with error code: PO49B (9C).

EGR is fine and clean.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

If you're using Forscan, see if there's a PID for the EGR cooler bypass.  This fault may only be occurring when EGR flows through the cooler, you won't be able to see how clean the cooler is inside.
