Hi can anyone recommend a tool for installing the differential oil seals please?

Same for removal.

Is there a recommended tool that Ford use for the IB5 gearbox when removing and installing?

If so anyone able to provide the workshop manual pages / provide the special tool number and / or cheap equivalent that does the job.

    Prise the old one out with a screwdriver then drive the new one in with a socket the same size as the seal

    @dezwez - thank you, the seal size is 55mm Outer Diameter, 40mm Internal Diameter. So I think I would need a 50mm socket? Depends on wall thickness I guess?

    Do these seals sit inside the casing with a metal lip showing around the edge?  I just used a flat piece of wood to tap the seals in flush though that wasn't on Ford gearboxes.
