Galaxy 2016 Windshield washer pump not working?

Hi! There are no sound from neither my front windshield pump or the rear pump when trying to flush. I was thinking is was only a fuse.

  • Why are there not a designated fuse for the pumps?
  • What fuse could it be?
  • What else could it be? And could I fix it (not a mechanic)

    Firstly, there is only one pump. It does both the front and rear screen.

    Second there is no fuse for the pump. It is controlled and operated directly from the Body Control Module (BCM)

    Any suggestions on how to fix this my self? I was planning the following:

    1. Disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes and reconnect it to re-start the BCM.
    2. Located the windshield washer pump and look for errors (behind right front wheel?)

    Comments or suggestions?

    Both good things to try.

    Pump is behind the inner wheel arch plastic liner. It could be corroded wires.

    There is also the chance that this could be a problem with the BCM and water ingress which is a known problem.
