Hello everyone! I'm planning to buy a used Ford Focus active between 2019-2021 probably with 100k-150k km on the clock and I know for a fact that I want the 1.5 Diesel version. The question however is about manual vs automatic transmission - I have read that on the previous focus: mk3 there was plenty of problems with an automatic gearbox but there is not that much info about the mk4 out there.  To be honest I would like to try the automatic transmission since I have always been driving a manual but I also don't want to buy a headache. So mk4 owners could you please share your opinion/ review?

    I would not recommend a Ford automatic, I would suggest looking at a different manufacturer
