Battery light on 2007 ford transit connect

Hi, looking for some advice. Battery light is on, I've replaced the battery, alternator and the wiring loom from the alternator and the light is still on. Can anyone point me to any common faults or suggest a next step to look at.  Thanks

    The wire inside the smart charge plug has most likely broken or corroded.

    Unplug the smart charge plug and measure the charging voltage at the battery terminals. it should be about 13.95V with the engine running at a fast idle.

    Then plug the smart charge connector back in to the alternator and repeat the measurement. If it remains the same then the connector/wire of the smart charge plug is broken.
