Mine is a 2020 Custom we have same issue I have done egr valve

Water pump  and thermostat housing runs so sweet no smoke from rear will sit and run on tick over for hours no issue but after half hour running along road when under a little pressure temp just rises but slow down then temp comes back down the electric fan never comes on but if turn on AC fan cuts in and temp drops.

My next test is remove Thermostat see if this has any effect

my dealer said they had similar issue ended up fitting new engine but mine out of warranty
