Doubt it! New price has had a big bump of about £12k lately to about £45k which has had a knock-on effect on used values. Seem to be looking at about £25k upwards now.

You're right i had a look. Love it but it's a premium car, too good for work really anyway. Plus i need some kind of decent fuel economy lol

Leon FR Sport comes with a slightly detuned Golf GTI engine.  And adaptive suspension.  But sadly that wasn't enough to make the 18" wheels tolerable for me.

Just coming back to that. When I ordered my Leon FR (back in 2014 - how time flies!) you could get 17s or 18s. I went for 17s which didn't look as sexy (see below) but I found the ride pretty good. You could at that time get a "standard" Golf GTI on 17s as well, iirc, but the "Performance" had 18s.

Couple of shots also of previous (red) and current (grey) Fiestas on 17s and 18s respectively. I'm not  convinced the 18s look that much better but they are sure easier to kerb!😀

It certainly does.  I've just realised it was 4 years ago when I bought the Leon. 😮

Seat may have offered more options back then.  At some point they dropped all optional extras to 'streamline' factory production.  Although even that wasn't enough to prevent VW dropping them altogether.

I wouldn't say 18's always look better, it does depend on the car and the design as well.  But in general, larger wheels filling more of the wheel arch is more pleasing than tiny casters where the car appears to be floating above them...although that seems to be all the rage with crossovers now so what do I know!

Having had a look around at various suggestions, I haven't really seen anything that i would

say looks as good as the Fiesta. It just looks a bit more sleek and sporty, styling is a bit

better - or does anyone have any specific examples of something just as good?
