MK6 Cold Idle Issue

Featured Replies

Got a 1.4 2008 MK6 Fiesta and I can't seem to find my exact issue, let alone how to fix it

I've had an idle issue now for about 2 weeks now. The car will start, the revs will drop and then proceed up to it's normal cold idle rev. However if I dare touch the throttle the revs drop from about 1.3k to below 800 and sometimes will stall out. When warm idles fine if anything maybe slightly high but not dangerously high.

I have noticed a hissing noise coming from the front of the engine as well so could it be a breather hose or something?

Done a throttle reset to no avail so I'm a bit clueless on where to go from here

Hoping there's someone that's a bit more clued up than I am lol
