Ecoboost Engine Required

Featured Replies

Hey everyone

So I've got a 2016 Ford Fiesta ST which has a knackered engine that needs replacing. The engine code is YYJB but I'm finding it difficult finding a replacement engine with that specific code but there's plenty others with different codes. Some breakers are saying they'll fit and others are saying it won't because the code doesn't match.

Would be grateful if anyone can advise on which engines are compatible with mine 🙏 - I'm not really concerned about putting a less powerful version of the engine in as long as it runs okay.

Presuming you have an ST-Line 140 not an ST, earlier thread on the same topic:

Indeed - The MK7/MK7.5 ST was never fitted with anything other than the 1.6 EB engine, and that engine code is for a 1.0 EB so definitely not a Fiesta ST.
