How to reboot Synch 4 on new Transit Courier ?

Hi,

I have a new Transit Courier.

Every now and then (worrying as I’ve only had it a few weeks…) my phone will show as connected - but zero sound comes through the Synch 4 system.

Re-boot phone - no change - silent.

Remove and reconnect phone - ditto. 

Only way I’ve sussed to fix it is to pull over, switch off van, get out, lock-up, leave it to all turn off, get back in - works fine.

 

Ive tried to lookup reboot synch 4 - just shows a Mach e - hold power and right seek - I could not see a right seek on my van.

anybody sussed out the button sequence for a reboot on a new courier yet ?

    Buried DEEP in the internet, somebody found this below - will give it a whirl tonight before I depart 🙂

     

    REBOOTING THE CENTER DISPLAY You can reboot the center display using the controls on the steering wheel. 1. Simultaneously press and hold the seek forward and volume down button for 10 seconds.
