Ford Fusion 2009 - Trying to replace the radio.

Featured Replies

Im trying to replace my radio, where im at with it at the moment is with the wiring. I bought a adapter to convert it to ISO. However i need a 16 pin plug which i couldn't find and some of the ISO to 16 pin Adapters have all different wiring. So im attempting to wire it myself. The radio i have is the JVC X372BT. I have uploaded a picture of the wiring diagram which im struggling to make sense of, tried looking around online but im getting different pin laylouts. Where would say Pin A4 start?

Sorry to post again but i cant seem to work this out.

Ive managed to find a harness for JVC X372BT Radio. However i only have sound in the right speaker and the radio doesnt work. I believe the issue to be the Fordquadlock to ISO Harness i bought. But im unsure.

Currently i have a Ford Quadlock to ISO Harness, that then goes into a ISO TO 16 Pin Harness. From the Ford Quadlock to ISO, the ISO cables colour match to the ISO to16pin cable so that is fine. When i checked the harness i bought i noticed the pins in the green circle (Picture below) are connected to the harness but the ones in red are not connected to anything. Anyone know what those ones are for? Or anyideas what the issues is why the new stero isn't working correctly?

The Radio i had before was the 6000CD.

The 3 wires in the white connector are the AUX Input.
The 2 wires in the black connector are for the radio remote control switch on the steering column.

As for your other issues, I would suggest you use a multimeter and check for voltages (using ground A8)
You have battery voltage on A4 at all times
You have battery voltage on A7 with ignition switch at position 1
You may find the above reversed, this is why they provide the external connectors in the supplied harness to swap them over.

Check resistance of speakers between B1-2, B3-4 B5-6 B7-8, should be around 4 ohms for each speaker.
