Ford Tourneo custom no start

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

Looking for advice please

I have Ford Tourneo Custom 2013 2.2 diesel from new.

Took car for service drove 2 miles home now won't start. Checked underneath car discovered pipe from filter to Electric high pressure pump damaged and not connected to engine.

Reconnected but no fuel coming out of the high pressure pump to the engine.

Red engine malfunction light on dash

Used scraper valve on engine to try to bleed line but no fuel or even air coming out.

Any suggestion would be very much appreciated

Thank you Regards Lewis

A bit suspicious that this happened immediately after "service"

Electric high pressure pump, really, sure?

Any break in pipe and reconnect can still leave air (lock) needing bleeding after ensuring that there are no air leaks - was filter changed, any fault codes?

What is a scraper valve?

Overall, confused.com but have never had 2.2, electric lift pump or scraper valve, sorry if totally wrong?
