parts swap . fiesta + fusion 1.4 petrol

Afternoon.

was wondering if both the 09 fiesta 1.4 and fusion 1.4 suspension can be swapped . looking at replacing both struts on my fusion and struggling to find second hand front struts .

there are plenty of fiesta parts , but very little fusion parts.

can these parts be swapped , are the chassis similar?.

    You would surely be looking at an 02-08 Fiesta for Fusion parts?

    I would think the same as long as the engine was similar - diesel cars may have different ratings to petrol cars

    Only the Fiesta Mk6 and Mk6.5 manufactured between 2002 and 2008 share parts with the Fusion model.

    The Fiesta Mk7 2009 onwards is totally different to the Fusion.
