**Blower fans not working**

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Hoping someone can help me please

My wife has a Fiesta Zetec 1.25. 2009 model I believe is the MK6.

The interior blower fans/ Vents aren't working on all numbers, hot or cold.

All that is working is the windshield one on top of the dashboard.

Any ideas please, thanks

Hi,

There is only one fan.  The dial controls flaps which change the direction of the air.  So it sounds like your direction flap is not moving.  You can see the levers etc from the passenger side footwell.

If it's manual controls then a cable or lever has probably failed.  If it's electronic then an actuator has probably failed.

(PS 2009 is likely to be UK Mk7 unless very late registered)

Cheers mate. April 2009 it was registered, I was led to believe it was a MK6. Ah well never mind.

I've been reading about actuators this morning. Seems relatively easy to get to a fix(if it's that of course) I'll have a look in the next few days when I'm off work
