Dipped headlamp levels different for RH Driving

Featured Replies

Galaxy 2016 - adaptive headlights.

Can anyone explain why the dipped headlamps are much lower when using the Foreign/Drive-on-the-Right setting than the UK setting, the latter which in my case in a bit too high - complaints from oncoming vehicles.

It probably just seems that way because of the change of angle

AFAIK, (have no idea on new fangled lighting) UK fixed lights (used to?) have a kick up on the LHS to illuminate the hedge area. This obviously causes problems abroad.
I have either used beam deflectors (block those areas - a right hassle) or set adjustment lower to avoid dazzling when outside UK, and never noticed any complaints?

do you have the option in your 2016 model to change headlights set up from the LH to RH? wow! the 1st owner must have had a lot of money to pay for this.
