REALLY SLUGGISH 2.2 TRANSIT CUSTOM

Featured Replies

Hi I was hoping someone may be able to help me as I am really at a loss with this.

I have a 2016 ford transit custom 2.2 and it's ridiculously SLOW Through every gear it seems the fastest I have gotten it to 60mph is 20seconds after all the work listed below. I have no warning lights and only error code I have is glow plug 3 which wouldnt affect the performance.

I have had the van fully serviced

DPF regen, Stage 1 remap to 191bhp, Had to turbocharger changed to an upgrade billet one, oil feed replaced,Throttle body replaced,ECU reset, Throttle position reset, egr values reset, I have ran live data feed and from what I can see it seems ok, although I am not a mechanic.

The van was an ex BT Fleet vehicle (open reach) and was speed limited when I purchased it, (limiter is now removed)

I don't want to keep throwing money at it but equally I cannot stand how slow it is. Merging on to traffic from any slip road is just a nightmare.

I've seen a few topics similar but no solutions somebody PLEASE HELP ME lol
