HELP Van has had attempted break in so shut off!

Featured Replies

someone has attempted to break in to my partners van - meaning the van has completely shut off no electrics working battery is fine and been tested. Key isnt working either and has also been tested and battery is fine.

How does he get in????

Please advise as auto locksmiths have had no luck... is it actually going to result in him breaking the glass to be able to get into his own van? Surely someones had this before?

Any help appreciated

You need to work out what they have done before you start smashing things.

I'd be crawling under the engine bay, they've probably cut some wires somewhere

How do you know the electrics are working if you can't get in?

Did they damage the key barrel in the door?

Presumably the same way he got in to "test" the battery was OK and that the electrics are OK.

The normal way to gain entry in cases like this is just to use the mechanical key and unlock the door manually.
