2007 Instrument Cluster

Featured Replies

Hi all! Posting this for my stepdad who is working on my sisters car. She owns a Ford Focus 2007, a month ago she had all the signs of an instrument cluster failure, speed reduction, gauges not working, car not starting, long story they ended up buying a complete new dash after the instrument cluster turned out to not be salvageable, however now they can't turn the car on

Think in some cases the security PATS system includes the cluster so may need some reprogramming to overcome having changed the cluster

The immobiliser PATS system is part of the instrument cluster as @troy45 has said.

If you get a vLinker FS cable and download FORScan (extended licence is required) then you should be able to reprogramme the instrument cluster in to the PATS system.

FORScan (for use with Windows Laptop) : https://forscan.org/download.html

It's what many Ford owners use including some Ford technicians.
