Hello everyone the time has come to change the filter on our ford galaxy 2l ecoboom please can anyone give the part number for this and filter location? I’m thinking it may be behind the battery but not 100% 

2.0 EcoBlue fuel filter is accessed from underneath the engine.  Next to the oil filter.

Thanks Tom when I go onto euro car parts the filter looks like a metal canister with pipe attachments on it when I searched the filter you linked it was a normal paper filter with a black key looking thing with it, what’s the key for?

ECP doesn't have the most effective search.  That just looks at '2.0 diesel' and may not separate Duratorq from EcoBlue for example.  You can buy the complete canister with paper element already inside, or just replace the paper element itself.  As ever though, it's worth checking your actual car to be sure before buying any parts.

The plastic key is probably to stop people using metal tools on the plastic housing and cracking it, though I must admit this is the first time I've seen it.  Not sure they were always supplied with that.

Edit: Looking at this picture, I think the key slots into the bottom of the filter itself to help pull it out of the the housing.
