[Request] Focus MK4 FL 2022+ wiring diagram

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Been a while, i'm looking for focus mk4 facelift wiring diagrams.

If no one has them, i'm just curious where to get them from, even buy them. I got some plans for my new car it's a Titanium 2022 (72 plate) and sadly it doesn't even have wiring for heated seats and reverse camera.

I want to retrofit them, but i'm curious how they differ from the pre-facelift since it no longer has the climate panel. My new car also has sync4 so the current 2021 wiring diagrams i have do not contain sync4 information.

In terms of the reverse camera, as far as I'm aware the pin out of the 18 pin plug for sync 4 is the same as sync 3

I have only German Version ;(

As @Neb_engineer suggested, there are no differences regarding camera connection to Sync4, same connector, same pins.

I was suspecting that would be the same. thank you for the link.

i am curious how different the heated seats are due to there's no climate panel for the switch to go. looking at the german diagram, it still only shows climate panel which doesn't exist on facelift with sync4. i guess i'll have to do more research

There was a shortage of components following pandemic time. Number of MK4.5 were manufactured with Sync3. That's why this wiring diagram shows the old climate control panel too. Normally, MK4.5 does not have the climate control panel. Wiring diagrams are usually full of everything and requires to filter out unnecessary stuff.  This small panel with buttons is there but is hard to find. Look at the page 132-11, there is Sync4 and the button panel.

If you want to upgrade from sync3 to sync4, you need to remove lines 53 and 54 of the APIM plug to ensure that sync4 can be used normally
