"how to" videos for galaxy 2 liter petrol/gasoline engine

Featured Replies

This forum has been a great resource of info, thanks to all of the contributors/replies.

I am actually shocked at how few "how to" videos are available on the internet for the 2 liter Ecoboost petrol/gasoline version of this vehicle, or any other European Ford  model with this engine.  I can find countless tutorials about the diesel engine models, but very very few about the 2 liter petrol/gasoline versions.

I guess the petrol version of this vehicle is rarely bought, due to the astronomical fuel prices that Europeans have had to pay for the last 30 years or so.

Does anyone have any links to "general maintenance" videos/tutorials... like air filter/oil change/jacking points/fuel filter/cabin air filter/coil packs/spark plugs/drive belts/coolant flush/ for the 2 liter Ecoboost petrol?

Once again, thanks for all the info on this forum.

Hi there,

video to fix something is just huge value... I do some repairs, I did not do much of videos, but I think it is time to start. I will soon change oil, dirty job, should go fine. Next I will do change of break pads, I already tried it. Prety easy. But, yes I have also diesel engine....

On the other hand, many non engine related changes should be similar or the same. Like break pads, should not differ much based on engine.

Good luck

One more thought here. x years ago, I could easy change the clutsch disk in a car, or change bearings, or belt.... now I can not find oil filter on the Galaxy 🤪

Is that because you have a Galaxy EV ? 🤣

no, EV could be even worst to repair. I have diesel. 🙂

but engine is stuck so deep below the windshield, difficult access to everything
