FORScan (for use with Windows Laptop) : https://forscan.org/download.html

It's what many Ford owners use including some Ford technicians.

OR

For diagnostic use only:

As advised I’ve got myself setup with Forscan.

Got the VLinker FD+ linked up to my iPad and i appear to have got a log readout etc.

In all honesty though I’m not sure how to read all the information and what exactly to do with it. How do i clear any historic fault codes etc?

Sorry for being dumb but I’m completely new to this..

Ok so had a play with the Forscan and all the codes have been cleared - and stayed clear, apart from a tyre pressure monitoring code.

That won’t clear no matter what i try. When it was running tests it said front left tyre could not be trained.

What do you reckon that is? All 4 tyres have been replaced with Michelin Cross Climates and pressures are spot on.

If your car is as shown on your profile (2016), then it is probable that the battery in the pressure sensor has died. The sensor will need changing.

On a 2016 vehicle it is very likely either the TPMS sensor battery is dead (expected to last 7 to 10 years), or the sensor has been replaced and has never been 'Trained' with the service tool.
