Fitting the new Ford AGR ergonomic seats into an older model

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I've posted this already in the Kuga Club but figure this applies to most Ford models.

Here's the post and here's hoping somebody can help me work out what I need to do to make this work...

I bought second hand the new style Ford ST-Line driver and passenger seats that came out of a 2024 Kuga because I really want the leg extenders (I'm 6ft 4ins).

Turns out it's not a straight swap - the new seats are 12-way not 10-way and use a new 'control box" (according to one of the mechanics at the local dealership) with different connectors.

I've posted an image of the new connectors they use.

I can't seem to find any useful information on line and all of the specialist retrofit companies seem to specialise in VAG and are unable to help with Ford.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to make this work?

I've got a great pair of seats sat in my garage, would love to have them in my Kuga!

All help and advice gratefully received. Many thanks, Matt.

Just a thought, but you should try a local 'motabilty' car workshop. They often do seat modifications to adapt cars, and may at least be able to point you in the right direction...

Thanks Stephen, that’s a good shout. I’ll give it a try.

Hi Matt,

did you figure out how to replace 'short' seats for the new ones AGR?

Thanks
