Just got a refund cheque from car insurance - shocked LOL

I paid my Focus insurance back in November last year. Today I got a letter from them (with cheque) stating that following an internal review, they have identified my premium was higher than it should have been, and a cheque for £28.18!

I'm off to buy a lottery ticket now, it's a freaky week 🤣

    Meanwhile, my electric company found out they'd been charging me the wrong rate for years and will now be increasing my bills by around £25 a month.  I believe this is Newtons 3rd Law of Motion. :laugh:

    We got 3, I think, payments paid into our bank account from Mrs Turvey's car insurance company for much the same reason!

    In 40+ years, I've never heard of such a thing. Wonder if some government mandated audit has uncovered some wrongdoings??
