PCM problem on Galaxy 2011, oxydation in connector

Featured Replies

Hello. I have Galaxy 2011 and second time i have problem with BCM  and oxydation in green connector also on the board.

Can anyone advise me where the liquid is getting to the connector and then to the board?
Is it possible to clone my BCM BG9T-14A073-AH to BCM BG9T-14073-DK? What do the last two letters mean? I saw that there are many BCMs with different ending letters.
What all needs to be done after cloning the BCM?

Thanks for any advices.

OH DEAR !!!

That's not good. Looks like you have the Mondeo screen wash fault.

To replace the BCM you need the exact same part number, with the exception of the very last letter which can be different.

BG9T-14A073-AH

the last letter 'H' can be any of the following:

H, J, K, L, M, N, O, P

but it is not advisable to use:

A, B, C, D, E, F, G.

It's from the screen wash pump. Water is travelling along inside of the two wires from the pump.

I saw the video but it was too late. I will try to clean the BCM from oxidation and try it. If it doesn't work I will try to have a clone made for the other one I bought from another car.
Thanks for the advice. Hard to believe that the fluid travels in the cables. Thanks again

Hello guys. I cleaned the BCM card and connector with isopropil from oxydation and is still working. I checked the pump from screen wash container and the connector inside was totally wet.

Im going to change it this week. i will checked the BCM every month in case of remaining washer fluid in the cable. Thanks have a nice day.
