Alarm problem

Featured Replies

Hi i have a s-max 2010 I've got a problem with my alarm keeps going off but the lights flashing but no sound if I pulled the alarm fuse what would happen apart from alarm not work

E.g. would the car be immobilsed could I lock the doors

The alarm fuse only covers the sounder.  The lights will still flash if you pull it.

Maybe someone else pulled the fuse already if you've just bought the car.  Or maybe the sounder is broken.

Have you tested the alarm horn (not the vehicles horn) to see if it actually still works ?
