Surely not? 😮

No, they were not available on the Fiesta Mk5.

Auto lamps on my 2007 Zetec S, but I don't use them.  H4s are fitted.

If you park with the front of the car reasonably close to, and pointing at a wall, the light pattern will clearly identify if MB or Dip is on.

That would be because it is a Fiesta Mk6.5 👍

I don't have the will or inclination to explain what's wrong with your post above, perhaps Rodger @Eric Bloodaxe will explain the issue. I note that is also not a 2025 model 🤣

Well, ok, then!

Notwithstanding the following its certainly not a 2025!😀

I see that Wikipedia was quoted. The bit quoted below** was obviously missed.

The reason for the apparent anomaly is that when the Mk 4 was heavily facelifted in 1999, in some markets (including UK) it was referred to as the Mk 5. The UK has continued to be one mark ahead right up to the final Mk 8 which is referred to as a Mk 7 in some markets.

**"The Ford Fiesta Mk5 (Mk6 in the United Kingdom) is the fifth generation of the Ford Fiesta supermini built in Europe between April 2002 and 2008."

NB Wikipedia is not generally the most reliable of sources, though the Fiesta stuff seems mostly ok.

I use Wiki quite a lot as a starting point, but look at other reference sources if trying to get the full story on anything (usually history as that's a particular interest of mine).

There's a not bad summary of the Fiesta story on the Parkers site:

https://www.parkers.co.uk/used-cars/history-of-the-ford-fiesta/

Just straying off topic a little, it's interesting that car manufacturers themselves rarely refer to their models by "Mk". Jaguar did, but that designated different models, rather than later versions e.g. a Mk 10 is a completely different thing to a Mk 2.

One I can think of is the Austin Healey 3000:
