Ford smax keyless entry and start not working

Featured Replies

Hi all

Got a 2016 MK2 smax

The central locking has stopped working via the fob and the keyless start has also stopped

Checking online they say it could be the keyless antenna receiver

I've pulled the roof lining off from the boot and found the central locking control module, but there is no antenna there

Does anyone know where they are?

Has anyone had the same issues and how they can be fixed

Before I pay £180 for ford diagnostics

Thanks on advance

The key fobs arent unlocking ot locking the car either would this be the cause

Do you have a multimeter ?

If not you're going to need to get one, or spend the £180 for Ford to tell you what the problem is.
