I put a brand new battery on a few weeks ago and now there is absolutely no power to the dash lights or even the headlights etc. No dash lights at all. On checking the fuses I discovered this in the unused fuse sockets and I'm 100% it shouldn't be there and I've seen this kind of trick used in the past to bypass immobilizer issues by would this be what the issue is? The remote locking doesn't work either. Thank you everyone for even thinking about this, it's frustrating to say the least.

Please repost your question in the FIESTA forum. This is the GUIDES forum.

That piece of plastic is just the broken plastic cover of one of the fuses. At least 2 of the fuses seem to have the cover missing.

This piece of plastic has nothing to do with the actual problem.

Regarding many people accidentally mis-using the guides sections these days. There must be a way to prevent this using a smart AI filter or even a big warning message when writing a post in any of the guide sections.

FOC admin could of course just put it back the way it worked up until the beginning of this year. Posts made to the 'Guides ' forum went in a pending forum. Then admin moved them to the Guides section only if they were an actual guide.

Or just remove it. Only the Fiesta, and Focus forums have a "Guides" sub-section anyway and I haven't seen a real "Guide" posted for a long time. First post on there is a note as a "sticky" but people obviously don't read it.

They could have one "Guide" section elsewhere covering all models for those with the interest and  enthusiasm to post an actual "Guide".
