My Ford Focus 2012 Sometimes Dies For No ReasonI have a 2012 Ford Focus with a manual transmission. Sometimes, the engine dies when the AC is turned on. For example, if I am in traffic or reversing with the AC on, the engine just dies—even if the clutch is fully pressed. In a video I recorded, the car was in neutral and parked, but when I turned the AC on max, the engine immediately died.Has anyone experienced this? What could be the cause?

    The idle speed is not high enough.  The ECU should increase idle speed to cope with the extra load of the AC.  Which engine is it?

    Faulty A/C compressor

    Rubbish fuel

    Flat battery

    Poor servicing

    Have been in 4 shops noone could help 

     

    Battery is good, atleast mechanic said so 

    Fuel i jave tried different stations different fuel 

    Poor servicing very possible however previous owner seemed to take care of car 

    Faulty AC, most likely then, any way I can check it at home witj very limited knowledge about cars ?
