Leaking passenger side pillar

Featured Replies

Hi,  from passenger side pillar

is soaking wet,  had the roof trim and screen trims off,  cleared 9 years worth of compost out and jet washed the area and no leak,  but heavy rainfall last night and it’s dripping in to the cabin.   The screen is the original and no evidence the sealant has failed?? Any suggestions?  TIA

That could only really be 1 of 3..

Rubber seal has given out.

The roof bar bit is allowing water in.

Rear washer pipe has separated ( this happened in mk1 focus as ford thought it was a good idea to run it on the roof liner 🤦‍♂️ ).

I’ve checked the door seal and pulled the inner one off to expose the roof liner and there is the airbag (which is wet) but no sign of the washer pipe unless it’s running beyond where I can see! Is there a way I could ‘clamp’ it at the bottle to see if it’s the cause closer to the reservoir?

The roof trim came off and there were no holes or ways for ingress. I’m/were thinking the screen sealing has gone in the top corner but can’t see clearly and the amount of water coming in seems too much…
