Galaxy timing belt

Featured Replies

I've just acquired a Galaxy EcoBlue 2 litre Diesel automatic and someone has mentioned a "wet belt" Not much paperwork with the new car so can anyone tell me when this may need to be changed.

The mileage on the car is 70,000

8 years or 80,000 miles which ever comes first. That is not the official recommendation, only that most owners have found if you leave it longer then the wet felt often fails.

First thing I would do is change the Engine oil, not hard at all if you have some ramps and a level surface
