Can anyone help with this symbol please

Featured Replies

Hi there I have a 2013 s-max titanium I have this symbol in the clocks good old Google has failed me and No1 I no has ever seen this in the clocks of a ford before including me. What the hell is it? Sometimes it doesn't show up at all, but it's on probably 90% of the time, when it doesn't show up the car is way more responsive through all the gears!  weird I no but it's true. Can anyone tell me what the hell it is I have no way of switching it off, it's either there when I switch the car on or it's not you never no. The blocks underneath fill up to the top when the car is warmed up. That's about all I can tell you about it.

It's either the Auxiliary Heater or it's the Park Heater. Both are on timers and are set via the instrument cluster settings.

See pages 95,96,97 and page 119 onwards of the S-Max owners handbook.

Hi unofix thanks for the info but I don't have any of those settings in my instrument cluster/computer

Its one of Motrals (Russian electronics wizard) mods. Shows what the PTC (electric) heater is doing. What power it is running at. Will be quite low when heated screens are on and will rise when they turn off.
