Stereo not playing music

Featured Replies

Hello everyone !

I have a 2007 Galaxy and I’m having an issues with the stereo/ head unit.
I had a repair done where the mechanic disconnected the battery, when next driving the car the unit came on as normal but no music plays on the radio setting or through the aux lead, everything else (heater controls, sat nav, etc) work fine.

I held ‘menu’ to be able to enter the radio code in case that had something to do with it but no luck.

Model is a CD340

any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks !

So were you able to enter the radio code ?

Yes,  but no change still not getting any audio

Disconnect the negative lead from the car battery for 20 minutes. Then reconnect and WAIT for five minutes before tuning the ignition on. That will fully reboot the radio. Enter the code and check to see if the audio has been restored.

I will give this a try and get back to you. Thanks!
