Heating issues

Featured Replies

Hi all does anyone have any idea on what could be the issue.

2017 Galaxy 2.0 TDCi (180)

Having issues with the heating system I have the tri zone heating system.

some background, noticed the coolant was looking discoloured was diagnosed as a leaking thermostat plus the thermostat was faulty and stuck “open”. So had a new thermostat fitted plus a full coolant flush through the system.
I now only have heating on the drivers side vents. He said it was bled after the flush and coolant exchange, but he did admit he wasn’t too sure if the tri zone systems had any extra steps for bleeding.

no faults logged in the car plus the HVAC system shows no faults after running the self test

Thanks

Jim

The whole system has to be vacuum filled. You need it done by a garage with the vacuum equipment to prevent air locks potential damage to areas of the engine.
