S-Max/Galaxy 1.6T Ecoboost fueling faults

Featured Replies

I'm turning to forums now 🤦 I've seen some very similar threads but not the same I'm yet to try one other thing before I write this off as a lemon!

2012 galaxy 1.6 ecoboost

Current fault codes

P0089 - fuel pressure regulator A performance

P0300 - Random multiple cyline misfire

P0302 - cylinder 2 misfire

P0303 - cylinder 3 misfire

P053f - cold start fuel pressure performance bank 1

Before the car worked it's way to me it's had a new in tank pump, new injectors, new pressure regulator, new spark plugs.

I've replaced the High pressure fuel pump and I've checked every is plugged in, connected, fitted, screwed, bolted and so on.

Now I'm scratching my head think wtf could it possibly be now 🤷 I've read the ecoboosts are notorious for having shoddy fuel pump control modules? Is that my next bet??? Or do I go back and double check all the work that has supposedly already been done?
