has my car got oil pump wet belt?

Featured Replies

hi guys

happy new year everybody!

been looking through my manula and internet and i cant seem to find out if my car has got the wet belt for the oil pump.

i know it uses a dry cambelt.

can anyone tell me if mine uses oil pump wet belt please?

many thanks guys 🙂

Nope!  The oil pump on 1.5 TDCI is fitted right around the crankshaft, it doesn't need a belt or a chain.

Many thanks @TomsFocus that is good to know 😊

I was getting worried as if it did then I'm not sure if the previous owner have changed it or not.
