BCM part number

Featured Replies

Hi all

Looks like I need to replace the BCM ON our 2012 SMax 2.0 diesel after vehicle electrician identified water ingress. They tell me to get a replacement unit for cloning, but I need the actual part number. Is there an easy way to see this on the BCM, or do I need to take it out? Can't find anything useful online re removing the unit, or accessing to see the part number.

Any ideas, guidance would be very much appreciated..

Cheers, Martin

Apologies - should have said hello first!!

The part number should be on a sticker on the front of the BCM. If you can see the fuses, you should be able to see the sticker.

This is our picture:

It's the BG... and, from other posts I believe you can use any HIGHER last letter i.e. we could use BF etc?
It simply drops down and comes out under the glove box with a twist fastener at the front, underneath the carpet-like trim that is held by two yellow screw fittings...on ours.
And I should have said Welcome! first...

That's fabulous - thanks for your responses. Looks like I will be folded into an SMax footwell tomorrow 🤣
