Potential leak advice??

Featured Replies

I’ve noticed a dirty mark appearing on the gravel where I park the car and it’s on the very front right of the engine bay.

I’ve had a look for anything obvious but cant see anything from the engine bay. The oil and coolant levels are fine but I have noticed a bit of grime by the bottom of the intercooler. I’ll attach a photo.

Any advice on what it could be or what/where to look for?

Cheers

I can't really see anything in that picture.

I did have a similar leak on another myself though. It was caused by a split intercooler. There's always a thin layer of oil inside the intercooler which is blown out of any cracks under boost, it makes a lot of mess but you'll never see a difference on the dipstick.
