My new watch, a firm favourite...

I have been buying watches for 40+ years, a bit of a fetish. Nothing expensive, just those that catch my eye, and now have about 30 or more. My most recent has quickly become my favourite, a Casio Duro. A mildly modded watch with a white chapter ring, green bezel, genuine Casio bracelet and my own addition of a cyclops. I love the simplicity of it, 200m water resistant, screw down crown, accurate to +10 seconds/month. The clarity of the dial is amazing white hands on black dial hard to beat. The lume really strong and striking. Singularity of purpose in that it only tells the time, and date so simple. Like my old car without all the fancy extras that usually go wrong. For the price, sub £70 (used but mint) really good value... (must stop surfing Ebay for watches 🤣)
