Can anyone tell me the location of the above and whats involved in changing it please?

Thanks

Solved by Fred fusion

It is on the cross member behind the front bumper. Spring clip holds it in place and a connector into the loom.

So, would i need to remove the front bumper to access it?

Thanks

Hi no need to take the front bumper off, just remove the lower grey intake grill, take your time to prize it off, you should have access to the metal probe.

I'd remove the probe and clean it off as they can corrode.

Clean up the terminals & plug back in.

Check the ambient temp on the dash, dip the end of the probe in warm water & see if it responds.

Mine was a bit hit & miss, but working fine on the original probe.

The photo attached is when I started stripping Fred down.

If you zoom in on the slam panel you'll see the metal probe & connector.
