Hi guys. 2013 s max tdi 2l .. where is the location of the EGR ? We have searched and every online photo/video etc is a different engine. Any help much appreciated. TIA

    Two different 2.0 TDCI engines were used in the S-Max around this time.

    Thank you. You have the later engine. The EGR on this model is on the front, but hidden underneath the plastic air intake.

    If you look just to the right of the inlet, you can see a round black plastic part with a pipe coming right from the top. That is the EGR cooler bypass. The flat black plastic behind it is the EGR valve electronics.

    This eBay ad shows the correct EGR valve & cooler assembly for your engine.
