2024 Transit 350 Crew Tipper - Bluetooth Connection Loop

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some insight into a couple of annoying electrical gremlins on my 2024 Ford Transit 350 Crew Tipper. It’s the basic model with the small infotainment screen.

The Issues:

1. Bluetooth Connectivity Loop

The system will pair with a phone (tested on iPhone 17 Pro Max and various Androids), but it immediately disconnects once the connection is established.

What I’ve tried: I performed a Master Reset and even programmed a new key. This actually fixed it temporarily, but as soon as the ignition was cycled (turned the van off and on), the problem returned.

2. Rapid Indicator Click (Interior Only)

The indicator "tick-tock" sound inside the cabin is clicking very fast, as if a bulb has blown. However, I’ve checked the exterior and all bulbs are flashing at the normal speed. It’s just the interior audio/dash sync that’s fast.

My Questions:

• Has anyone experienced this specific Bluetooth "connect/disconnect" loop on the newer basic head units?

• Could the indicator issue be a sign of a failing Body Control Module (BCM) or a grounding issue that might also be affecting the SYNC/radio module?

• Since it’s a 2024, I’m considering a dealer visit, but I’d love to know if there’s a known software update or a simple fuse pull that resets the communication bus.

Any help or advice from fellow owners or Ford techs would be massively appreciated!

It's still under warranty, book it in
