Hi, I am after some advice for recoding a sync 3 unit in order to make it fit into my 2014 focus titanium navigator. I cant get VIN numbers very easily because they aren't usually shown on car listings and mechanics and dealers aren't willing to give them out, probably due to UK laws or something.

I was hoping someone on here might have a schematic of all of the codes and what each one means/does (I saw part of one on another post but I am after a full sheet). Hopefully with this schematic and/or spreadsheet (if anyone has one) I should be able to program my unit manually.

If anyone has any other suggestions then I would love to here them because from what I can gather, manual coding isn't an easy task.

@JW1982 I was hoping you might be able to help me out on this since you were really helpful before.

I have installes my sync 3 (APIM and Screen) and my sync 3 USB hub. I have left my stock ACM since it was the 9 speaker sony version that you said was plug and play. I have done some programming and custimization of the APIM and I have changed the touchscreen as well as some other variables that were listed in the sync 1 to sync 3 guide on this forum (on the BCM).

However, no matter what I seem to change or do I am still getting DTC's from the APIM and ACM (U2101 for both). It is telling me that they have lost communication with central config. As far as I can tell though, I have reprogrammed everything I need to reprogram.

Is there any other options in the BCM/APIM that need to be configured that I could have missed, or could there be another cause?

I know this description is a bit vague but I will hopefully attach some files/pictures of the forscan for these modules later.
