Audio part of Screen Freezing after Jump Start

Featured Replies

2018 S-Max

The problem started with a completely dead battery (not sure what caused it but not relevant here…I think) and I jumpstarted the S-Max from another car. Everything is working fine since then except I’m seeing the following behaviour from the audio

Radio/Screen starts up normally and radio station can be selected and audio played. After about 20-30 seconds “audio off” comes up on display, radio station keeps playing and volume knob works but it is not possible to go into the audio tab of the menus to change station or select another source. Phone stays paired and CarPlay works when plugged in but no audio comes over Bluetooth or CarPlay.

So does anyone have any idea what might cause this behaviour and how it might be fixed? Is there a specific fuse that might be linked to the Bluetooth/CarPlay capability that if gone would cause strange radio behaviour?
