Can anyone tell me if my ford fiesta titanium x 69 plate has a wet belt or a chain pls

    Hi,

    There is a chance of '69 plate Fiesta being chain.

    Can you either post a picture of the engine bay or tell us the exact power level?

    Also worth noting that even the chain engine has a wetbelt for the oil pump.

    Always prepared for a surprise but as far as we know chain was phased in on some versions mid 2020.

    Easy enough to check, wet belt (top pic) has the big shiny heatshield over the turbo at the front, chain version has the turbo at the rear (may not have the black cover shown in that shot).

    As Tom says, chain version still has a belt for the oil pump, which needs replacing at 10 years max.
