  • lol, thanks. Yeah the sound is amazing -especially with the DSP set to pop, the beat can be felt through the door handles. Only had the volume up to 7 so far as well, god knows what 20 or w/e is like.

  • Cheers mate, yeah I knew to expect poorer mpg and was slighty worried over decemeber when I was getting an average of 30mpg, but I put it down to the engine being cold and having the heater and heated

  • Hi Ant. I doubted the 3 thin pieces of tape would be enough at first so thought I'd try it for a week - been a month so far and I find it alright. Although I hardly ever fold it up. Think if I did fol

Just thought I'd share some pics I took today...

Feeling a little inspired by YouTubers and the 'Fiesta Movement' "Agents" I took a little drive out to play with my new Go Pro camera.

The colours captured on the video footage look good - I may upload some clips later in the week.

I'm a bit of a gadget geek, I know. The camera mounted on the rear panel (drivers side) certainly drew some attention as I was driving through the city to get home. A grey zetec S with green alloys came hurtling past then braked hard and moved over to the left - I was pretty sure it was because he saw the camera. He must have been intrigued as later on he was in the right lane signaling right, but then as I turned left he cut across 3 lanes and followed me to the next junction where he drove along side me looking into my car! lol

So this morning I went to the Post Office to collect my missed Brodit delivery, then fitted it once back home.

I’d ordered the central/dash ProClip mount for the Fiesta, and the Brodit powered iPhone 5 cradle (which is ‘Apple approved’(?) so allows for charging).

Here’s a few pics…

More recent ProClip mounts seem to come with predrilled starter holes, making it much easier when fitting the cradle:

With the little (included) ‘Gap Opener’, the ProClip mount took 30 seconds to fit, if that:

Then the backing plate is screwed onto the ProClip, followed by the cradle:

As I went for the powered cradle, there’s obviously a cable that needs to run down to the 12v power outlet or USB port. For neatness I removed the gearshift’s surround, climate control surround, & “secret compartment’s” door, and hid the cable behind them:

I opted to use the USB port for power, (as my dash cam & GPS use the 12v power outlet via a 4-way cig-socket extender under the driver’s seat):

Finished result. (To be honest I didn’t buy this so I could see my phone’s screen - it was purely as a neat & tidy option for charging my phone in the car, as I was sick of having to get the cable out of the arm rest, plugging it in, then putting it away again before getting out the car).

I’m quite happy with this purchase and would highly recommend Brodit’s products.
(I’m in no way being endorsed for this review, or have any relation to Brodit -other than being a happy customer. Lol)

Paul :)
